Hi, I’m Becky and I lead LifePoint Kids.
Some of my favourite things are running along the beach, playing board games and eating lots of cheese! But I also love being with children, whether it’s in my day job as a primary school teacher, being at home as a mum to a beautiful 1 year old or being with the wonderful LifePoint Kids. One of my biggest passions is to see children, no matter how young they are, find their place in the family of God and discover that Jesus loves them. Get in touch if you’d like to know more about LifePoint Kids.
"You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength..."
We passionately believe that there is a special place in the family of God for our precious children. We don’t want you to worry about yours making a noise in our meetings. The sound of laughter and the sight of happy children is very precious to us and we would love you to feel as welcome as possible when you bring your children to LifePoint.
During our LifePoint gatherings children have the opportunity to get together, play games, hear stories from the Bible, take part in craft activities and learn to pray with, and for, others in their group. Our groups are also a chance for your children to make new friends.
We are passionate about every child feeling comfortable, welcomed and included in everything we do at LifePoint. If your child has special needs and would benefit from having a specially-trained 1-1 assistant in his/her group this can be arranged by our fantastic Buddies team. LifePoint Central also has a special sensory room where your child can take some time out to feel relaxed and safe.
To celebrate Easter children enjoy acting out the story of Jesus’ resurrection and love to take part in our annual LifePoint Easter egg hunt.
Over the Summer Sundays, we organise special events for our children. Recent events have included a big sports day with exciting obstacle courses and fun team games, as well as indoor movie mornings and build-your-own ice cream sundae parties when the weather is not so great.
As an alternative to Halloween, we hold a special Superheroes party for our children which they love and oaen invite their school friends to. This is always lots of fun with yummy food and exciting party games for all primary-aged children to enjoy.
At Christmas our children often take to the stage and perform a song, dance or even sometimes a whole Nativity performance for us.
SMILE. LOVE. LAUGH.
