Do you want to find out more about LifePoint Church? This is your chance! Our Discovering LifePoint course runs on three separate evenings over three weeks and serves as an introduction to our vision and beliefs.
- What is our vision?
Firstly we explain the vision of church that inspires us, the values we live by, and the immediate strategy we're putting into place to fulfil the vision in the here and now.
- How can I play my part in that vision?
Secondly we look at what it means for an individual to take his / her place in the church. How to settle in and discover a place of service that makes use of your abilities ... all that, plus a chance to ask your questions about the detail of church life.
- What does every member of the church have in common?
Simple really - a living, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, sealed through baptism in water and an empowering experience of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. On the final evening we look at the New Testament's clear descriptions of these two experiences for every Christian's life.
Discovering Church runs about three times a year for new friends and guests of the church. At the end of the course there's an opportunity to talk to us about whether you would like to join our church membership.
